Rochelle Courtenay is the founder of Share the Dignity, a charity that distributes period products to women experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, and doing it tough. Share the Dignity collects thousands of period products each year and distributes them directly to charities across Australia.  They work with over 2,500 charities and has 5000 volunteers have had 2.8 million packets of pads and tampons donated and have had over $50 million donated.

173,000 women turned to homelessness services last year, every single one of them was looking for somewhere safer. For them, buying sanitary products is probably the last thing on their mind, and they’re having to resort to socks and newspaper.
